Educational field reference

HVAC Technician Help is an educational and field-reference resource. It is not a substitute for manufacturer service literature, applicable codes, licensing requirements, employer procedures, site-specific safety rules, or professional judgment. Always verify model-specific information before making changes to equipment.

Safety

HVAC/R work can involve hazardous voltage, rotating equipment, pressurized refrigerants, combustion systems, elevated work, chemicals, and other hazards. Use only procedures you are trained, qualified, and authorized to perform. Follow proper PPE, lockout/tagout, refrigerant regulations, manufacturer instructions, and applicable codes.

Accuracy and field cases

We work to keep content useful and carefully scoped, but no diagnostic result, field reading, fault code, or procedure should be treated as universally applicable. Field cases describe specific service situations and are not official manufacturer procedures or guaranteed solutions.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. Do not use the service to upload or publish customer passwords, access codes, account numbers, private addresses, or other confidential information.

Pro membership and billing

Pro memberships are billed through Stripe using the price and billing interval shown at checkout. Subscription management is provided through the billing portal. If a subscription is scheduled to cancel, access may remain available through the paid subscription period shown in your account.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass account or membership controls, access another person's account, scrape protected content at scale, introduce malicious code, or use the service for unlawful activity.

Content and intellectual property

Original site text, organization, tools, and presentation are provided for use through HVAC Technician Help. Manufacturer names, trademarks, manuals, and product information remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to a manufacturer does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Availability and changes

Features, content, membership benefits, and site availability may change over time. We may correct errors, remove unsafe or inaccurate material, change features, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users.

Limitation of reliance

Use of the site is at your own professional judgment and risk. HVAC Technician Help does not guarantee that any particular troubleshooting path, calculation, repair, setting, or recommendation is appropriate for the equipment or conditions you are working on.
